There is a super highway from Morelia to Ixtapa and the trip takes 3 1/2 hours. The hotel is 5 minutes away from the Estrella Blanca and the Estrella de Oro bus terminals. Ixtapa has two professional golf courses, a wonderful marina and an 8-km bike track that crosses through the jungle by a bird sanctuary; it ends in Playa Linda by the crocodile reserve.
