The popular White Beach side of the island is prone to strong winds and occasional typhoon from Jul to Nov; whilst the resort side is prone during Jun, Dec & Jan. Resort is excellent base for windsurfing & kiteboarding activities. Several int'l competitions were & will be held at this part of the island fronting the resort.
