[updating] Your houseboat vacation home has an onboard generator that provides power for an air-conditioner and other appliances. The houseboats have a full kitchen with range, oven, fridge, microwave and outdoor gas grill. There is a radio to keep in touch with the Marina, but no phone. There is cell phone coverage along most of the cruising routes. No special licenses are needed, however, upon check-in, there will be a US$100 orientation surcharge, plus charges for motor and generator fuel. Additional charges include: septic pump- out $35 and propane $15. Two insurance options are available: 1) US$100 non- refundable fee and US$500 deposit which is returned at the end of the week or 2) a US$1500 deposit refunded at the end of the week. Small pets (lap dogs) are allowed, however, a non-refundable fee of US$100 per week is charged for pet(s). Houseboats may be kept out over night at designated locations on the lake with the approval of the Marina Manager. In the event of high winds, all boats docked at the marina will not be allowed to leave until weather conditions permit per the marina manager.
