There are steps going up or down in all units. Check-in is at 4PM. THE OFFICE IS OPEN UNTIL 7PM. IF YOU ARE ARRIVING AFTER 7PM YOU MUST CONTACT THE RESORT IN ADVANCE AT 828/625-0097. No pets are allowed. For long distance calls, you must use a calling card or call collect. A car is recommended to fully enjoy the area. The property covers several miles and it may be necessary to drive to some on-site amenities. The lake can be anywhere from 1/2 to 4 miles from the units. RV's, boats motorhomes, motorcycles and trailers are not allowed on-site, but storage is available for a fee. Lake Lure requires boat and lake permit, out of state license, boat docking fee and North Carolina fishing license. Not all amenities are open in the winter season.
