[updating] Your houseboat vacation home has an onboard generator that provides power for an air-conditioner & other appliances. The houseboats have a full kitchen with range, oven, fridge, microwave & outdoor gas grill. There is a radio to keep in touch with the marina but no phones. There is cell phone coverage along most cruising routes. No special licenses are needed, however upon check-in there will be a US $125 orientation surcharge, plus charges for motor and generator fuel. Approximate additional charges are: septic pump out US$65 & propane US$15. Two insurance options are available: 1) US$100 non-refundable fee and a US$500 deposit returnable at the end of your week or 2) US$1,500 deposit refunded at the end of your week. Small pets (lap dogs) are allowed,however, there is a non-refundable fee of US$100 per week for your pet. For a fee, Pontoon & Seadoo rentals available. Houseboats must be returned every night to the covered dock slip assigned to that particular boat at an agreed time. Arrangements can be made to keep the houseboat out for a few nights at specific designated locations.
