[updating] Each Banyan Harbor unit has a wall unit air-conditioner in the living room and master bedroom, a TV with VCR and a washer/dryer. All units are 2BR OCC: Max 6/Pri 4 with 1 1/2 baths, 1 queen bed, 1 double bed and 1 sleep sofa. No pets are allowed. A car is necessary to fully enjoy the area. A credit card is required at check in. All Hawaii resorts must collect a Transient Accommodations Tax based on unit size which is approximately $US35.00 per interval confirmed for this resort. The resort is 3 stories and has NO elevators. This is a non-smoking resort. There are narrow and steeper than average stairs located in each unit, which some may find difficult to negotiate. Handicapped accessible facilities are not available at this older timeshare facility. The resort is located only two short miles from the Lihue airport and just across the street from Kalapaki Beach and Nawiliwili Sea Port. It's central location on the island is within 2 miles of Kauai's largest shop- ping center, numerous restaurants, island activities, golf and the island's business center district.
