[updating] Each unit has a fully equipped kitchen, complete with a microwave oven, blender, dishwasher, toaster and coffee maker. Amenities include: telephone, stereo, VCR, washer/dryer and 2-3 televisions. Only the bedrooms have air conditioning. 1BR units OCC: Max 4/Pri 4 have a king bed and 1 or 2 baths. 2BR units OCC: Max 6/Pri 6 have a king bed in the master bedroom and a queen, 2 double or 2 twin beds in the second bedroom. All units have a sleeper sofa. The resort has three floors with NO elevators. A car is recommended to fully enjoy the island of Kauai. The resort collects a transient occupancy tax required by the State of Hawaii. The TAT tax for timeshare ranges from US$24 to US$32 per unit per week based on the unit size. Although the resort is beach front, the beach is not a "swimming" beach due to hazardous ocean condtions. The Radisson Hotel located next door to the resort restricts access to many of their facilities and amenities to only guests staying at the hotel. The crowing of roosters may be heard throughout the island of Kauai.
