[updating] Every unit at Mauna Loa Village by the Sea is air-conditioned and has a full kitchen with a dishwasher, and microwave oven. They also have television with cable, and a washer/dryer. Some rooms are bi-level and require one flight of stairs. 1BR units OCC: Max 4/Pri 2 have either one full bath or one and a half baths, a King bed and a Queen sleep sofa. 2BR units OCC: Max 6/Pri 4 have two and a half baths, two King beds, and a Queen sleep sofa. Check in is between 4:00 and 8:00. If you are arriving after 8:00 Hawaii Standard Time, you must contact the resort prior to your arrival date. A credit card is required at check in. No pets are allowed. A car is recommended to fully enjoy the island. There is fee for tennis which varies by season. Check with resort. All Hawaii resorts will collect a Transient Accommodations Tax for timeshare ranging between US$15-US$35 per interval confirmed. All resorts in Hawaii are now non-smoking facilities.
