[updating] Your vacation home at The Highlands at Sugar has numerous amenities including a fireplace, telephone with voice mail, VCR, television with cable, washer/dryer, whirlpool tub and a full kitchen with a dishwasher and microwave oven. Some units also have a garbage disposal and a wet bar. There is no air conditioning in the units. Stairs are required to access all units-there are no handicapped units avail. 1BR units OCC: Max 4/Pri 2 have 1 bath, 1 king bed and 1 sleep sofa. 2BR units OCC: Max 8/Pri 4 have 2 baths, 2 king beds and 2 queen sleeper sofas. No pets are allowed at the resort. Check-in is at 4:00 pm and check-out is at 10:00 am. If you anticipate a late arrival, please contact the resort in advance at (828) 898-9601. A security deposit (MC, Visa, Amex, Disc credit card imprint) is required at time of check-in. When you check-out your unit is inspected and the security deposit can be returned. To fully enjoy the area, a car is recommended. Ski seasons vary each year, contact the resort to verify dates.
