Great care has been taken to preserve the environment of this beautiful, remote area, with thatch and reeds - traditional materials used by the local Zulu people - used extensively, together with wood to maintain the natural character of the setting. But while African prints, handmade carpets, sisal rugs and comfortable, durable furniture, may create a relaxed setting, you'll forfeit none of the comforts of home at Sodwana Bay Lodge. And your chalet is always carefully serviced and tidied, right down to the last detail in your fully equipped kitchen. There is open parking available. Babysitting is available by arrangement. There is a charge for the communal facility. All linen and towels are provided - except for beach towels. A deposit is required which is refunded after two weeks. There are no handicap facilities.
